What Exactly Does Pet Sitting Include and Entail?
There isn’t much difference between a pet sitter and a baby sitter. Pet sitters take care of and responsibility for your pets in your home while you’re away – this can be a simple or complicated task – depending on your pet.
The primary responsibilities of a pet sitter are to provide your pet with food and opportunities to go to the bathroom, whether this requires going for a walk, clearing a litter box or cleaning out a cage. It’s up to you to ensure there are enough food and bathroom materials at home for the duration of your trip, and the rest is up to us.
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a sitter is that your pet can maintain its day-to-day routine in its home environment while you’re away. Meaning the pet sitter retains your pet’s routines. If you play with your animal every day at 6 p.m., your sitter will do the same. We ask that you let your sitter know about your pet’s regular schedule so that they can make appropriate arrangements. Typed lists are the best way to communicate your pet’s routine. While you’re away, your pet sitter will be responsible for seeking out appropriate care for your pet in the event of a medical emergency. It’s best to supply the contact details of your preferred vet clinic.
Beyond the immediate pet sitting responsibilities, house-sitting duties are also taken on, such as checking mail, watering the plants and keeping the house clean. Lawn mowing can also be arranged if needed (this will incur an additional charge).

Hi, I’m Marc,
I have worked with many different types of animals over the years. Having worked as a wrangler on several farms, as a vets assistance in my youth and many years of pet minding, I have experience with many unusual pet species. I have a deep love for all animals, and I have a way with them. I can quickly connect and comfort animals. When I am in your home, I treat your pets as I would my own. I love them.
I take great pride in making sure your pets are always happy, well cared for and most importantly, safe.
In addition, when you return from your trip, your home will be as clean as you left it. Bonus!

I also work as a website developer, so I will work from home as long as you have a stable internet connection. This means your pets will have care and company 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, significantly reducing their separation anxiety.

Dog Sitting
Looking after your dog in your home. This cost includes as many daily walks as needed, feeding (food supplied by you), plenty of hugs, and lots of playtime. I will also wash your pet if you are away for more than three weeks. Your plants will be watered, mail and parcels collected, and your home kept clean.
$50/day *
Cat Sitting
Looking after your Cat in your home. Cost includes feeding, litter maintenance, and plenty of cuddles and playtime (feed and litter supplies to be supplied by you). Your home will be kept clean, mail collected, and plants cared for.

Exotic Pet Sitting
Be it Snakes, horses, ferrets, or farm animals, I have you covered. I make sure they are feed (food supplied by you) and taken care of until your return. Your plants, mail and home will be looked after as well.
$50/day *
* More than one pet can attract an additional daily charge fee. This depends on how many animals and much more work is involved. Additional house care activities such as lawn mowing can be arranged prior to your holiday for an additional fee.
